I'm Sébastien Derhy, an AI builder based in Tel Aviv, Israel. I graduated from École Polytechnique (X2008), the top engineering school in France, with a focus on applied mathematics and computer science.

My career has taken me from the world of venture capital in Paris to the frontiers of computer vision and AI research in Israel. I've led teams at Samsung, Via Transportation, and Datagen, working on everything from event-based vision sensors to synthetic data for human-centric CV.

Today, I'm building Ormind — AI employees for solopreneurs. I've been crafting it solo for 2 years, while holding a full-time job and raising two wonderful kids. It's ranked Top 5 on the GAIA benchmark, the gold standard for evaluating general AI assistants.

Led the development of computer vision algorithms for one of the first worldwide event-based vision sensors (DVS). Pioneered deep learning approaches for neuromorphic vision technology.
